Along with calcium, vitamin A is an important part of keeping a woman’s bones healthy. This is critical when a woman is reaching the age of menopause and osteoporosis becomes a concern. Taking B1 helps a woman keep up with her active lifestyle by encouraging the body to release energy from the food it has consumed in return adding an energized feeling to the day. The vitamin B2 also helps with energy release from food but also serves as a stress reducer that most busy women need. B3 is a vitamin that serves as a metabolism booster and aids in keeping the figure slim.

In addition to vitamins helping women stay healthy, taking a specific women’s vitamin can also keep you looking great. Some vitamins for women such as antioxidants help women feel and look younger. Vitamin C and vitamin E are good contributors for beautiful eyes and a clear complexion.

While taking vitamins is an important part of keeping the body healthy, it is also important to understand which vitamins for women the body needs and how they contribute to a woman’s lifestyle. Taking the correct vitamin and the correct dosage is all part of the process of caring for a woman’s body.
